Interesting stats on EVs and energy use in the US, developments in wind and tidal power, a plastic recycling microfactory, and an "unprecedented collapse" in EU fossil fuel generation.
A great book for anyone looking for hope and a path forward.
Just finished listening to the audiobook of Katharine Hayhoe's 2021 book on how to have difficult conversations around the climate crisis and take meaningful action toward environmental solutions. If you've been struggling to figure out how to speak about the climate to people who either don't believe that human impact is responsible change or that solutions are possible, this is the book for you.
I especially appreciate that Hayhoe emphasizes the need to connect climate issues to a person's deeply held values and show them how their lives can be positive impacted by supporting climate action now.
