LINKS OF THE WEEK: Feb 12, 2024
Interesting stats on EVs and energy use in the US, developments in wind and tidal power, a plastic recycling microfactory, and an "unprecedented collapse" in EU fossil fuel generation.
Thanks to incredible progress in EV, battery, micromobility, and hydrogen technology, we are making huge strides toward a carbon-free transportation future. Imagine a world where your short trips are fun ebike jaunts along nature paths and most of your longer trips are made with convenient public transit or community-owned EVs. (Or, dare I say, zippy battery-powered hydrofoil boats? 😁)
ContinuedSome are calling the "most futuristic boat ever."
Build the paths and the cyclists will come.
We are in the early(ish) stages of a major evolution in transportation – and micromobility will likely play a major role in it.
Who knew? (And who on Earth would choose hydrogen over electricity to power a bike??)
